Who receives it
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers for website hosting, newsletters, analytics and call bookings. They receive only the information needed to provide the relevant service. Some may process information outside the UK using safeguards recognised by UK data-protection law.
If you choose an external contact or booking service, that service will also process information under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and your choices
We use necessary browser storage to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies, including _ga, to distinguish visits and sessions. Analytics is not loaded before you accept, and we do not use advertising cookies.
You can change your choice below at any time. Turning analytics off also removes our Google Analytics cookies from this browser.
Analytics cookies are currently off.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up and manage our relationship with you. Newsletter details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept according to the settings in our analytics account. We may keep limited records where the law requires it or to make sure we respect an opt-out.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to its use, ask for it to be transferred, or withdraw consent. Email david@carraccountingstudio.co.uk. We normally respond to rights requests within one month.
If you think we have mishandled your information, email the same address with Data protection complaint in the subject line. We will acknowledge it within 30 days, investigate it without undue delay, keep you informed and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no website or transmission is completely secure. We may update this policy when the site or the law changes; the latest version and date will appear here.
