Capital, ambition, expectations. Your finance function should match all three.

Funded businesses need more than compliance. You need investor-grade reporting, real cash visibility, and a finance function that can keep up with the pace. We build and run that function — whether you're post-seed, scaling on revenue, or post-Series A and deploying capital.

01 — Where you are

Funded, you're probably dealing with…

When you raise, the finance bar moves overnight. Investors want things you've never produced. Boards want them on a cadence you've never run. We've been on both sides of that table.

What's painful
  • Investors asking for things you don't currently produce
  • A runway model that doesn't match your actual burn
  • Month-end close that takes too long and arrives too late
  • Board packs cobbled together the night before
  • A finance function post-funding, post-hire, post-Series A — that needs cleaning up
  • A messy function post-pivot, post-restructure — that needs cleaning up
What working with us looks like
  • We embed in your business as your finance function
  • Run alongside an in-house team, a fractional CFO, or run the whole thing
  • Month-end run properly, management information you can use
  • Cash and runway matching reality, updated properly
  • Investor-grade reporting — the pack your board actually wants to see
  • Senior finance in the room when conversations matter
02 — What you'll get

Investor-grade. End to end.

We deliver the work that funded businesses need to operate well — and the senior judgment that founders need when the calls get harder.

  • Investor-grade reporting

    Monthly

Monthly pack — P&L, balance sheet, cash, KPIs — built around the metrics your investors actually want.

  • Cash & runway models

    Monthly

Real models — matched to actuals, scenario-planned, updated monthly. Not the deck spreadsheet from the raise.

  • Fast monthly close

    Monthly

Closed by working day 5. Reports in your inbox, not chased for two weeks.

  • Board pack & commentary

    Monthly · quarterly

Numbers, narrative, KPIs — packaged for your board, with the context your board actually wants.

  • Fractional CFO

    Monthly retainer

Senior finance voice — board, investors, hiring, restructure. The senior role you'd otherwise hire in-house.

  • Transformation projects

    Project-based

System migrations, close clean-ups, reporting rebuilds, due diligence prep. We pick up the messy stuff.

03 — What this looks like

An illustrative story.

Anonymised but typical — a seed-stage SaaS, post-raise, finance function lagging, Series A conversations starting.

CASE · 031

Investor-grade numbers in six weeks. Ready for Series A.

A seed-stage B2B SaaS business has raised £1.5m, grown quickly, and is preparing for a Series A conversation. The founder is running the numbers themselves in spreadsheets, the bookkeeping is six weeks behind, and the last board pack had been built right before the meeting. The lead investor had started asking sharper questions about unit economics, burn, and runway.

We come in, clean the function over six weeks, migrate to a proper close process, build out a board pack covering financial performance, SaaS metrics, runway scenarios, and commentary. By the time the Series A conversation comes around, the founder walks into it with a pack the investors are genuinely impressed by — and crucially, numbers that can be trusted.
